This is a group for widows/widowers under 40. This group can provide a place to find support through activities, discussions, meals, art, whatever! While there will be plenty of room for conversations, this group will also focus on DOING things and creating a fun in an environment where people might have a shared understanding of the struggles of losing someone at a young age.

Our group was formed in 2003 as a way to offer peer support for local women and men in the greater Boston area who have lost a spouse. We discuss the issues surrounding the death of a spouse and ways to move forward in life. Finding yourself widowed at any age is an isolating experience, this group provides support in many ways to make you feel connected.
